Do
you watch videos online, such as those available on YouTube and
other popular video web sites?
Most
but not all of the videos listed above pertain to big band music.
I found most of these videos on YouTube.
Other popular video web sites are AOL
Video, Google Video,
MSN Soapbox, and Yahoo!
Video. I encourage you to visit each one and search for videos.
You'll be surprised by all that are available!
The
YouTube videos included above will begin automatically, but those
from MSN Soapbox work manually. Just click the "Play"
button to view them.
Be
aware that videos are posted on the above web sites by people like
you and me. Sometimes they remove them. If that happens to any of
the videos listed above, you'll see a message after you click on
the link. Please email
me if you encounter any faulty links and tell me the name of the
video you couldn't see. I'll replace it with another.
Note:
I'll be adding new videos from time to time. Check back often.

the way, do you remember Soundies? In the 1940's, four decades
before MTV, Soundies swept the nation. Fortunately, you can
now buy The
Soundies - DVD's from Amazon.com. They were shown at movie theaters
from coast to coast. Michael Feinstein will tell you all about Soundies
in the video below.
